MHASF End-of-Year Message from CEO

Dear MHASF Community,
On behalf of MHASF, its staff, and Board of Directors, I hope the holiday season has been filled with love, joy, and moments of peace and I want to extend our warmest wishes for a happy and healthy New Year. In this special time of reflection, our hearts are brimming with gratitude for the strength, resilience, and sense of community that defines MHASF. As we celebrate the holidays, let’s cherish the positive strides we’ve made individually and collectively. We want to express our heartfelt appreciation for the bonds we’ve forged within our community. Your openness in sharing your stories, your compassion in listening, and your dedication to creating a supportive environment have made our organization a beacon of hope and inspiration.
As you navigate the holiday season know that if you or someone you know are in need of nonjudgemental emotional and mental health support, that we are available through our California Peer-run Warm Line—a California state funded service offered 24/7, to all California residents experiencing loneliness, depression, anxiety, and more mental health conditions. Whether it’s a quiet moment on a festive evening or a challenging time during the day, our warm line is here for you.
Looking ahead to the new year, MHASF is inspired to renew our commitments of supporting one another, breaking down stigma, and building a community that embraces the unique journeys we all navigate. Together, we can create a future where mental health is not only understood but also celebrated. Thank you for your continued support and being an integral part of MHASF. May the coming year bring continued moments of growth, understanding, and connection.
Happy New Year.
With warm regards,
Mark Salazar
