Different groups whose facilitators teach and apply particular treatment strategies to help groups of individuals with hoarding behavior understand and manage their unique challenges. Can be clinically-based and/or peer-based.

Buried in Treasures (BiT) is an evidence-based, highly structured, short-term, skills-based group using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy principles tailored to Hoarding Disorder. BiT is a workbook-based approach that was designed for use either by individuals working on their own or by individuals in a group context with facilitators who were trained to lead the groups but were not clinicians.
