The Eviction Defense Collaborative (EDC) provides legal assistance to people who are in legal proceedings for eviction in San Francisco, including for alleged nuisance behaviors, which could include hoarding issues.

BayLegal’s Legal Advice Line is a free legal hotline available to qualified low-income residents living in the Bay Area. Housing Rights Committee of San Francisco
Free tenant rights counseling for San Francisco renters
for both private and subsidized housing tenants, including tenants in public housing, low-income housing, and section 8 units.
Counseling is available in Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, English and Russian. They do NOT accept counseling questions via email.
