This workshop explores the mental health and business benefits of attaining a cooperative and supportive workplace. Through interactive exercises, participants learn about the continuum of mental health and ways to support the mental health and wellness of themselves and their colleagues. Content is tailored to specific professional fields.

Team Building and Mental Health

This workshop explores, from a mental health perspective, the key components of successful team building. These include assertive communication, willing collaboration, and collective commitment, each of which, in the long term, lead to enhanced efficiency and improved morale. Participants will be involved in learning and practicing team building skills to apply in the workplace on a continual basis.

Stress Management in the Workplace

This workshop examines different types of stress in the workplace and their impact on personal well-being and overall productivity. Strategies are presented for more effectively managing unavoidable stress and decreasing avoidable stress. Through interactive exercises and role-plays, participants will learn about converting common negative reactions into positive outlooks and about ways of focusing their energies to support a healthier workplace. Content is tailored to specific professional field and workplace needs.
